About the Role
Our client is a prestigious regional law firm based in the heart of Hertfordshire. With regional offices spanning London, Essex and Hertfordshire, our client has been voted as one of the Sunday Times Best Places to Work in 2024.
The role:
We are recruiting an experienced candidate with three to six years PQE (although pre-qualification experience will be considered) and a with a proven track record of running their own case load.
The candidate will ideally have experience in both corporate and commercial work with a keen interest to develop their commercial skills and practice.
Some knowledge and practical experience of employment law, in respect of preparing contracts and director’s service agreements, as well as in relation to the TUPE Regulations would be advantageous but is not essential.
The candidate will ideally be able to demonstrate that they have worked with clients on a broad range of commercial matters, to include (but in no way limited to) contracts, tender processes, franchise agreements, distribution agreements and e-commerce.

Responsibilities & Requirements
3-6 Years PQE is desired, however candidates with lesser experience will be considered.
Whilst supervision and mentoring will be provided, the candidate must be proficient in working independently and in handling their own varied case load.
The candidate will need to apportion their time effectively between fee-earning, marketing and business development, alongside supervising more junior members of the department from time to time.
